John A. Lengel Jr., P.E. is GS&P's executive vice president of Environmental Compliance. John just celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary, has two teens who keep him on his toes at every step and a yellow parakeet name Louie. He has more than 20 years of environmental compliance experience specializing in aviation stormwater issues, and particularly deicer management systems permitting, evaluation and design of collection, storage and treatment systems. He has worked on aviation deicing stormwater issues at more than 20 airports, enjoys the diversity of travel, as evidenced by his activity in several aviation organizations, particularly ACI-NA Environmental Affairs Committee, AAAE and ACC. He serves as the ACI-NA Water Quality Working Group Co-Chair and helped lead an industry coalition in reviewing and commenting on the proposed ELG.
